Introduction

Thank you for visiting the communal DeviantArt account of Legendofzelda.com. We have made this account because we would like to seek Zelda related fan art from the DeviantArt community. It is maintained by various site staff so more than one person will be handling this account.

We have seen many talented people out there with a lot of related fan art. So we are sure that you would love to share your talent with not only other LoZ fans from DA but also with members of the legendofzelda.com site as well.

Here you can see selected samples from our site which we people have asked us to show off. We would love would send copies of your work to the email supplied or even just leave us a link through comments on this page itself. Don't forget to leave your name and DA account so we can link to you!

So how does this work exactly?
-------------------------------------

Well basically every submission you see on this communal account is on the legendofzelda.com gallery and so we have gained permission to display them there. Both our gallery and this communal DA gallery work together basically. So any deviations that you see on this account has already been accredited as much as possible (until told otherwise of course). So there won't be any concerns about 'art stealing' on this account, it's purely as some may call it a club account. If you see one of your old arts on here which I know there are some and you would either wish for it to be taken down or accredited (because obviously in the past you guys have left us pictures but not website links), then of course let us know as soon as possible and we'll deal with it accordingly. Be it add more to link the image to you or taking it down. What we don't do and are fully against is Google 'zelda fanart' and just add to our hearts content. All the works on here are either works from DA members who want them displayed here and also at the legendofzelda.com site. Or it's legendofzelda.com fanart that have been submitted over time which we are integrating with this.

If however on hindsight you are not a member of the legendofzelda.com site and you wish us to host some Zelda fanart, then we are more than happy to do that! What we will do in this case is add your work onto this account first, and then add them to our main site gallery. That should be fairly obvious though, just a little reverse engineering!

Where do I sign up?!

There is an email provided on this page. You can drop an email through that or send a note via DeviantArt which I am sure you all know how to do. Or maybe even if you are interested you can join our site and let us know a little more directly!
You can send us links, or even the originals.

What we will do on our end is squish your name and title as the deviation title where possible. Even if we can't fit your name no worries! The description will clearly state:

1) Who it's by, so in other words your name.
2) A link to your DeviantArt page (where relevant as not all artists have an account, it's possible they have another site instead)
3) A link directly to the relevant image on your DeviantArt account (again as above, this may not be relevant)
4) Description of work, which is only on request.

Naturally any changes you wish to make you, just drop us a message in one form or another and we'll edit it for you.

TEMPORARY PROBLEM:

We have been having problems for a while uploading images to our site gallery so to all who have been sending their requests in, we apologise for the delay. We've been working on it for a while and we haven't figured out why this is, we hope to fix it sometime soon. Sorry for any inconvenience!
